Who We Are?
We are a community of people who have a personal faith in God. Our faith influences our entire lives, and therefore we often emphasize the power and significance of the personal experience of God’s presence. Our desire is that the personal relationship with God deepens throughout life. At the same time, faith is not individualistic but is anchored in a broad Christian community. We adhere to creeds—both classical worldwide, contemporary ecumenical, and Pentecostal-charismatic.
As a congregation, we belong to a Christian movement with two thousand years of roots that has spread to all continents. We are an independent local church, yet we are part of the Swedish Pentecostal movement.
Our faith is built upon the teachings of the Bible, which throughout history has been interpreted by the Christian church. The context to which one belongs influences the emphases in faith, and for the individual, faith is received through a personal relationship with God. In the interplay between the Bible, tradition, and personal experiences, the Bible is the fundamental starting point.
We want to be a church where all people, regardless of age and cultural background, feel welcome.
Café Hela Världen – Community and Language Café
Every Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM (except on public holidays), a special gathering with an international focus. It’s a place where people from different cultures come together for fellowship, engaging conversations, and cultural exchange. Enjoy delicious refreshments while making new friends and sharing experiences from around the globe. If you prefer sports over conversation, you can play football or volleyball in our sports hall.
Don’t miss Café Hela Världen—a fantastic opportunity whether you are an asylum seeker, new to Sweden, or have lived here your entire life.
English Interpretation at Our Sunday Services at 10:30 AM
To ensure that everyone can participate fully in our worship services, we offer interpretation into English during our Sunday gatherings at 10:30 AM. Headsets are available at the entrance—please don’t hesitate to ask one of our ushers for assistance. Our aim is to make you feel at home, no matter what language you speak. If you want to get to know people in the congregation a little better, you can join a small group that meets in homes.
Swedish Courses for Asylum Seekers and New Arrivals
In collaboration with June folkhögskola and the study association Bilda, our church organizes Swedish courses for asylum seekers during the daytime. More information about the start of next autumn’s course will be available in the spring.
How Can We Pray for You?
We believe in a God who can perform miracles, and everyone is welcome to request the congregation’s intercessory prayer. During our church services, we pray together and provide opportunities for personal prayer. In life’s challenges, the church exists to support one another and others through encouragement and prayer. If you would like help in prayer for something specific, you are warmly welcome to contact us. If you prefer personal contact, please let us know; otherwise, we will include your prayer request anonymously in various prayer gatherings. Email us at info@pingstjonkoping.se

Curious About Jesus?!
What is the meaning of my life? When we ask life’s big questions or are sometimes compelled by life’s circumstances, it is natural to turn to God. We believe that through meeting Jesus, each person has the opportunity to restore their relationship with God. Jesus’ death and resurrection offer forgiveness from sin and a new life in fellowship with God. We believe that Jesus is the only way to God. In this new life with God, a person can step by step be transformed into a greater likeness of Him and thereby increasingly become their true self.
We would love to help you receive Jesus into your life. If you don’t have a Christian friend whom you can naturally turn to, you can contact one of our pastors or email us at info@pingstjonkoping.se. We also regularly offer Alpha Courses, which are introductory courses to the Christian faith for those who are curious.
